Kelly Sparks
NPSI Founder and Executive Director
Kelly Sparks is a co-founder of the National Postsecondary Strategy Institute (NPSI) and currently serves as NPSI’s Executive Director. Kelly is highly accomplished in the education field with expertise in district leadership, strategy consulting, data and evaluation, and organizational management. Kelly began her career in the Chicago Public Schools Central Office, where she developed innovative postsecondary data systems to track student aspirations, Freshmen success, FAFSA completion, college enrollment, and postsecondary employment. In addition, Kelly has spent the last 20 years working with districts across the country to foster systems change that result in sustainable student postsecondary outcomes. In other roles, Kelly has developed strategic plans for urban school districts and education non-profits, and she led the National Charter School Resource Center. In addition to her role at NPSI, Kelly is co-founder of Maple Grove Objective, which helps organizations strategically use data to improve outcomes for the communities they serve. Kelly has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
